Tried the light my fire brand, but I think this one will be much more handy.

Plastic sppons on 03/04/2011 18:58:23 MST Print View

I personally swore of plastic spoons. They melt or get deformed around strong heat.
You may find that you have situations where you use your spoon in high heat.

For me, a light titanium spoon can handle everything I dish out, even on an open wood fire, without issue.

It came in a box of kiwi. Kiwi are an awesome fruit. Going to dehydrate some this week. I think we have service for four.

This was a tong-in-cheek post, but it is an amusing little spoon/knife.
It might work out if you take kids out. And if they lose it, no loss.

I do have a plastic light-my-fire spoon/fork/knife, but it is not stiff enough. No one likes it, so it went into to box of gear I wish I never bought.

Arg. LOL. I really hate new words describing multi-use insturments. They get stuck in my head like a bad jingle.

Any other new words I shouldn't hear?

addendum: I just picked up on the tong-in-cheek. ugh.

Having only seen a spife on the "Venn Diagram of Cutlery", I had assigned it to a mythical status perhaps something that you would only see in a movie trailer for "The Hobbit". You, my friend have a powerful piece of kit there. Never wield it with ill-intent - oh, nevermind, it's only green plastic.
