Rabs have a wire in the hood.

I m also looking for a rain jacket, except it has to be able to withstand rain in a thunderstorm for several hours, sailing...be breathable, have pockets and look reasonable when I travel. Even at the expense of some weight.

I also use the REI airlyte for running, I ll weigh that once I ve found it. My biggest complaint is that the collar is way to high, and I don't have a small neck.
