Hey everyone,
I've got a great BMW bivy I bought off BPL about 3 years ago. I bought it for one 2 week trip. Used it and then held on to it thinking I'd need it more, but the midwest just isn't great for bivy camping. I paid $225 for it and would like to get $160 (shipped to CONUS). I believe it's the older version of the Vapr Lite.

It weighs in at 246 g on my dig scale. It is in perfect conditionfull lengthbug net opening

Please PM me with questions I will get to them as fast as possible. Thanks for looking

Mitchell,
Does this bivi have a side zipper and netting?
Thanks,
Fred

Yes netting only top zipper on 03/02/2011 15:21:47 MST Print View

Yes there is netting with a full double zip. The entry is at the top but it's quite large. I don't remember if the netting can be zipped completely off but I will check when I get home. Thanks

What's the length of the bivy?

I'm a big guy, 245lbs, 6'-2" tall and wondering if it would fit my bulk. ;)

Correction: Bag is full zip down left side on 03/02/2011 19:46:19 MST Print View

Sorry about that, I had thoughts of crawling in from the top, but when I got home and looked at it I realized it is a full zip down the left side.

The bag will fit someone up to 6'8" and is 36" at the shoulder and 18" in the foot box.

Sorry about earlier confusion.

similar kits on 03/02/2011 19:48:59 MST Print View

Also, Chad you and I have incredibly similar kits. Other than the diabetic supplies I carry about 80% of your exact kit. Although I'm 5'10" 170 so my clothes are a little smaller/lighter!

I'm dropping the price one last time to $130.

Great deal - after that I'm gonna put it back in the quiver. Thanks for looking
