Yeah but a realbeard(tm) is self sustaining. You can cut off chunks as the weather gets warmer. Every chunk you cut off can be used as kindling!

When it gets cold you simply allow realbeard (tm) to grow back. The same cannot be said for beardhead. I mean you could cut off chunks of it a burn it but unless you're hiking with a sheep, a ul spinning wheel, and some knitting needles you're not going to be growing back that sucker. :P

Chad - you are forgetting about the extra weight of moustache wax to carry in order to maintain the handle bar effect. Also it would have to be a hell of a beard to provide head insulation :).

I think these will be appearing on more and more lists as time goes on. However, if anyone is sufficiently hairy they could just dispense with clothing altogether and just go full sasquatch :).
