Pentax on Monday released two new rugged Optio compact cameras, a silver limited edition version of its popular K-5 DSLR, and a 25mm lens for its 645D medium format camera.

I hadn't realized that the previous version of this camera had a ring light, and then this new model makes it even better. I just wish that manufacturers would provide more detail about how their gps works. The most I've been able to learn is that some models will show the closest "hot spot" and encode the lat/long in the EXIF. Oh, IR remote...that's nice too.
