I am hiking in April for charity but I seem to be receiving some resistance on other sites making my hike known.

I was just wondering if it would be ok to create a thread in this section to promote my hike and the cause me and my hiking buddy are hiking for.

Actually, Raul is already a forum member by virtue of signing up onto this forum. Forum membership is free.

Answering Paul's question... the moderators here have the last word, of course, but I don't think people here will frown on occasional solicitations that are hiking related and for a good cause.

I'm speechless myself. I just wanted to get the word out about my event so people can decide to donate or not. I cant even get the word out effectively to the hiking community and it is a bit frustrating.
