Fishing along the Sierra High Route on 01/24/2011 13:26:55 MST Print View

Hey, would like to hear any info on the fishing along the Sierra High Route. Mainly the off trail areas,(versus the JMT areas). Trying to decide on wether to bring some basic fly gear to fish a few lakes along the way.

I've not done that route, but have been around some of it & no way I'd do it without bringing fishing gear.

If you like to fish, you'd probably want to shoot yourself if you didn't bring your gear.

+1 I barely fish, but would certainly bring equipment along for that hike!
