SOLD SOLD SOLD
I'm selling my trusty Contrail because I've switched to tarps for 4 season soloing.
If you're in the market for a tarptent, this is what I have to offer:
> 2009 edition > adjustable rear struts > fully functional bathtub floor > here's the link to what tarptent has to say: http://tarptent.com/contrail.html
The tent was with me every night of a 14 night JMT trek in 2009. Since then it's been used spontaneously on Boy Scout outings and other solo trips. I'd estimate it's got 25 nights under it's belt, give or take one or two. It has seen some wear, no holes anywhere though, not in the bag or the tent, and no signs of holes on their way; but during selling inspecton I saw a mosquito spot and a couple smudges. The botton of the silnylon floor has dirt on it because I rarely used a tarp beneath it (don't have to, the silnylon is pretty strong stuff). It HAS NOT been seamsealed, sorry. It doesn't pitch perfectly, one side has always been (I think) sewn a little shorter than the other; it doesn't take away functionality but it does look a wee bit off when it's pitched.
I used no trekking poles in the past, and will include the optional pole (rolled up in the tent). Also I will include 4 MSR groundhog stakes so you can set it up immediately.
and here are some pics

I think that covers everything? Oh, price! I got it new in 2009, how's about $80 plus shipping, paypal gift only please. PM me to holla back.
