Of all the wool I have worked with, this is the softest yet ( yes, softer than merino). I have made small, medium and large. ( between 2 and 3 ounces, depending on size and amount of rim). The pattern is simple and the ribbing makes these stretchy, so one size goes a long way. If they are big, they can be doubled up at the rim. My daughter has a medium sized head, with lots of hair...

I have all sizes in grey, sage green, brown, darkgreen with black. I can also make all sizes in black, off white, blue and other colors.

Top two are grey; the one viewed from the top is brown. I also have light grey, olive green, black and off white

Received my hat from Katharina today, it's well made and extremely soft and comfortable! Although I am not as striking as the model in her pictures, I have to say it improves my appearance...... THANKS, and I'd like another one, Black, in large size, long please....:)
