Wicked, thanks for passing it on. Quite a nifty application, works excellent.

Works for Mac OSX as well. Just drag the saved text to desktop, and then drag it back into the load box the next time you use the program.

I have a Mac, and you mentioned saving to desktop, then bringing it back up by putting it the load box... What is the load box? Lol. I'm having a blond moment!

It seems to be working in Ubuntu versions of Linux as well. I haven't tried it with anything else.

Does anyone know of a similar functioning spreadsheet? I have been trying to get one to work with Excel, but am not happy with the aesthetics, user friendliness and adaptability of what I have been using.

I really like the concept of having a gear inventory to choose from and then easily customizing for particular trips.

If I come up with something I like, I will post as well.

Mac users.

Just use the sample list, unless you have one set up.

Press save, and a separate box/pop-up screen should come up. Highlight the text, and drag onto your desktop. Makes instant note/file.

Then what I do is press the refresh button on browser. A new blank page comes up.

Press the load button. An empty box/pop-up screen comes up. Drag back the text file that you have from the desktop onto the box/pop-up screen.

Voila.

The wicked thing about the program is you can drag whole containers, or individual items from you "gear shelf" to "your pack" and vice versa or add multiple quantities of the same item, with a click. Nifty.

I made my own but his is more flexible, prettier and probably doesn't require excel.
