I haven't specifically used the 600ml Evernew system, but I have been using the Sidewinder for a 2 qt AGG pot for wood burning (and everything else!!). My review is here:

I have two reports on the use of the sidewinder with the 900 ml Evernew pot here and here

Further testing at home confirms my feeling that a wide pot such as the Evernew pots is ideal for use with a Caldera and especially the Sidewinder because of its packability.

I used the sidewinder on the Superior Hiking Trail this fall on a 6 day trip in conjunction with esbit and the .6 ltr Evernew pot. I took the esbit along in case of wet weather. I was impressed with how fast it boiled water using wood. In fact it was quite a bit faster than esbit. I carried 4 esbit tabs and used wood for my other 6 meals. I did use a cotton ball with vaseline for a starter to make things easier. If you don't mind the fiddle factor and grime I would highly recommend the tri ti with the inferno. On top of that the guys at Trail Designs are great to deal with.
