thoughts on x posting on 12/16/2010 13:52:02 MST Print View

preface that - this is purely my opinion, but....

post away, some bpl'ers want a shot at your gear too, maybe - even if it is heavyweight...

UNLESS your thread is chosen for a rare and random misconstrued as "crossposting" attack by readership or others, there should be no issue with your described scenario

crossposting has been clarified by some here as listing your wares on additional topical areas of bpl itself ie: Gear swap & Gear deals simultaneously,.. posting elsewhere in the WORLD, not so much an issue.

ps. also links to other sale sites (ebay) frowned upon Greatly

No Piranhas on 12/16/2010 22:08:28 MST Print View

No, the sporks aren't Piranhas. Similar, but fewer tines (3) and no hanger clip.

Envelopes on 12/18/2010 09:39:54 MST Print View

Josh,
I'd be most reluctant to put the sporks in a regular envelope. A bubble-lined envelope would be perfect, though.

Spork length on 12/21/2010 12:59:22 MST Print View

Josh,
Sorry I spaced off this thread.

The sporks are "normal" length, e.g., somewhere btwn. 5" and 7". I don't have them with me at the moment, but if you want me to, I'll measure them when I get home tonight.

np. i did as well. i'll pass on the sporks friend, as they'll cost more to ship than they cost. if you could fit em in an envelope i would've bought it...

Measured 'em: 7"

And then I noticed, they're not GSI, but Permaware.

New prices, see above.

Packs on 01/06/2011 15:43:55 MST Print View

See above, prices lowered (expectations shattered).

Both are like-new, hardly used.

Wookey fits a large torso (18"+) and a medium-large waist (36"+). Weighs about 5.5 lbs.
Aries fits a medium-small torso (16"-ish) and a medium waist. Weighs about 3.5 lbs.

Packs have all the climbing/skiing/mountaineering bells and whistles (daisy chains, hypalon patch, tool tubes, etc.). Think Arc'tyeryx Bora or Gregory Denali.
