Okay I need a new pack.
Note: Momentum fabric will not last when bush whacking.

Any way, are there any packs with a simple draw string closure?

All I found were those horrible scratching, fleece snagging, folding the wrong way, slow closing, slow opening, stepping on the straps roll top closures.

All I want is a simple one hand closing, quick opening pack.

And yes I may make my own.

Any suggestions.

I'm a little unclear here. Couldn't you just use one of those horrible roll-top packs but not actually roll it up? Just cinch the drawcord and leave it like that if you hate the roll top so much?

With that said, Zpacks have a more simple draw string closure that you may like. There's no roll top involved.

The G4 momentum did not have a draw string just the horrible roll top.

I could have added a draw string, and removed all the velcro if the pack had not worn out during bush whacking.

Anyone else spent a hour looking for a lost water bottle that fell through the bottom of a pocket?
