jumpbackjack and i are planning to do a short mojave desert hike next weekend if anyone is interrested let us know

our tenative plan is to stay at the dove springs ohv area on friday night then get up saturday and hike south to ricardo campground and re supply our water there then
hike out from there and set up camp somewhere between ricardo camp and aquaduct road
for saturday night then hike back to dove springs on sunday
we have never hiked the desert before but figured this would be a safe easy way to find out if its worth doing

if anyone wants to join us or has any suggestions for a better area or a better hike
please let us know
