Nevada City , the home of Tarptent, was hit by a snowstorm recently that brought power lines down so there is no electricity there.
Tarptent will be shut down for a few days till things are back to normal.
(there is no Internet contact either...)

Well! I should suspect that we all will be getting some free gear from Tarptent for this inconvenience brought upon us.

Rumor has it that things got out of hand when he was generating more severe conditions for Scarp testing.

If those darn hippies would just cut down those pesky trees they wouldn't have this problem! (I kid. I love NC & go there quite often, but Grass Valley.... :-)

Cheers,

Rick

Depending on where you live in the Tahoe Basin, they got 5 to 9 FEET of snow.

Perfect conditions for any true 4-season prototype tarptents Henry may have available for R&D testing.

He isn't the only one.... we got blasted and have a record snow/temp for this time of year. We at least still have electricity but the lights were flickering.

gotta luv calgary in winter ... polar bears wandering the streets as no one bothers leashing them up, they feed on the excess kids anyways ...

the chance of a hawt gurl saying yes to the question "dya wanna go snuggle baby?" is inversely proportional to the temperature as defined by

50 - temp in C = snuggle probability in %

so in other words there woulda been 50 - (-41C) = 91% chance that a hawt blond cowtown cowgirl woulda snuggled with you if you asked her ....

hmmmmmmmm

Eric - this was my experience exactly. Married now, I limit my random snuggling with hawt gurls.

I'm in DC and it's really, really cold here right now. Well, not in DC, just for me personally. I didn't MEAN to actually say it to her, it was the scotch talking!

calgary math on 11/23/2010 21:56:51 MST Print View

the chance of livestock or herd animals turning a blind eye to snuggle attempts is inversely proportional to the temperature as defined by

50 - temp in C = snuggle probability in % (x 100)

Absolute certainty. So if you fall into the unfortunate 9% you have to go without. Whats not to love about the 403!

I certainly hope to see some serious snow like that way up here in the north, I've got a pair of northern lite snowshoes on order. That being said, if TT needs a snowshoe delivery boy I think some exchange of services could be organized...
