Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I was in North Conway, NH, yesterday and stopped in the Wild Things store. Big discounts on last year's models while they're getting next year's ready. Two standouts:

Event rain shells were down to around $150 from $275. They don't feel especially light, but not particularly heavy, either. Good deal for an event jacket, I thought.

There were also several pairs of nylon pants for between $5 and $20. Looked like very well-constructed pants, and mostly lightweight.

Looks like this is a store-only sale, but I didn't ask anyone if they would ship stuff. If you're in the area, though...
