Has anyone used a Fly Creek 1 or 2 in the winter? I live in the NJ and hope to use it in PA,NY and surrounding area in December and maybe Jan and Feb. Any Experience and/or suggestions?

Thanks

No experience with this tent, but I think it would do ok, especially if in the woods. The potential problem might be snow loading. Keep the snow knocked off if there's more than an inch or so, and remember that pitching in deep will involve more than just driving the stock stakes into the ground. :)

I have a Fly Creek and think it is a good three season tent. I would not use it as a winter tent anywhere there is the possibility of blowing snow. If your winter weather means rain then it would serve you well but do not expect it to deal with a blizzard. Certainly, it would be better than using a tarp but it is not a cold, snowy, windy weather tent.
