The maximum number of posts per thread is 1,000.

Took a determined group from March 2008 to October 2010 to ascertain! Good job, everyone!! :)

No worries, the forum software just killed it. No way to add anymore responses -- which is why I wrote above - 1000 posts is apparently the maximum.

I think it should end with dignity and grace. Hall of fame material. There's already too many wars going on nowadays.

Even though I never really played a major part in this thread, props to everyone for a worthy and intelligible discussion.

Edit: I think George knew something that we didn't. He had the last 9 posts! And yes, it is fantastic that it ended in a solitary smiley face.

Ok, here is the new thread that I am attempting to move out of the "Backcountry Cookfires" thread. Flame away.

Should would return to Backcountry Cookfires: Overview and Techniques for Cooking Over an Open Flame?

I was reading about household access to energy. Per the IEA:

1.44 billion people lacked access to electricity
404 million in India
587 million in sub-Saharan Africa

2.7 billion people across the world still cook on inefficient stoves that burn polluting fuels based on biomass like cow dung, firewood or crop residue.

Back where we started?

How dare you cast aspersions on my PC. And what about all those Mac users who can't post anymore either?
