I am going on a 6 day trip Sept 26 to Oct 1 on the Superior Hiking trail. I am trying out MicroPur tablets for the 1st time. It looks like for at least one night our water source is going to be coming from a beaver pond. Will I be OK or do I need I need to consider an alternative treatment.

Judging from my own experience using MicroPur with beaver pond water, I think you'll be OK. Haven't gotten sick...yet. ;-)

Follow instructions and you should be fine. Watch the long treatment time!

If possible, collect your raw water from the inflow to the beaver pond, not the outflow.

All of the above, especially treatment times and taking water from inflow instead of outfall.
