It might not matter but I guess the crampons are G-14.

Yeah - either way is fine. My old Charlet 12's are nearing the end, so I just went with what the OP indicated they were.

Never owned Grivel gear before, though I have heard good things!

I have used Grivel gear for many years and I can't say enough good things about them. (Ice tools, ice axe, alpine and ice crampons) I have been Ice climbing with the G-14 for the last 7 years and can't fault them yet! They are solid and reliable.
They took anything I have thrown at them (ice, mix, alpine) and required minimal maintenance (sharpening).
My 2 cents.
