I just saw that Amazon.com has a promotion where anyone associated with a .edu e-mail address (mainly students, but im sure staff would work as well) qualify for free amazon prime 2-day shipping on all their purchases, regardless of item price.

Somewhat related: if you make at least a few purchases from Amazon.com each year, consider signing up for the Amazon Prime service with three other buddies. Amazon allows up to four accounts registered to the "household", and they do not have to share the same last name, shipping address, or anything. It costs me $20/year to get free 2-day shipping on anything they carry - no minimum orders.
