Anyone have any suggestions for removing tree sap from my tent footprint?

Denatured alcohol works well too.

Maybe I have the wrong kind of tree sap, or maybe it is the wrong denatured alcohol. Whenever I get tree sap on clothing, I have to try all kinds of stuff, and it seems like hardly anything works.

White gasoline, unleaded gasoline, denatured alcohol, TSP, detergent, etc.

I think acetone worked on my tree sap.

I use Everclear in my alky stove, and when I got a little on my hands, just a bit of that took it right off. Maybe it would work on footprints as well.

Hand sanitizer may also work. It gets sap off my hands well.
