I happened to be in Gatlinburg TN yesterday ("a dreadful little town..." to quote Bill Bryson in "A Walk in the Woods.") There is a really nice brand new store there called NOC's Great Outpost that has all of their brand name outdoor clothing on sale for half-price. Most definitely worth a look if you happen to be in Bill Bryson's favorite little town.

I have to agree with Bill. But I was happy to spend a night there once after a drenching storm.
