I was just looking at these the other day. I have a Marmot down sweater that I love, but have lost weight and need a smaller size. $42 beats $100+!

I had a BPL member ship me one they got in the store, and it's a crushingly good deal. The fit is good, the baffles are well-stuffed and plump, and the quality looks excellent. Unreal bargain! I might buy a couple for gifts as well...

I took adavantage of the "deal" a couple months ago as I recall and picked up a couple of vests. Just ordered another vest and two jackets as well. Now the whole family will match. That will drive my kids crazy!

How true to fit is the Downlight Sweater? I'm normally a large but those are sold out. This is a hell of a good deal and might go XL.

the site shows that it runs a bit large

i wonder, at 2oz heavier, how this compares to the montbell alpinelight jacket..

in about 4 days, i'll know..

Thanks to you guys there's only XXL left now. Bummer. I would have liked the vest but they've only got XL and XXL in that. $31 is amazing for a nice down vest.

Go check your local store... I know the one here in columbus had a bunch of smaller sizes last week.

They also honor the online price if you bring in a print-out.
