I have bought a POE Uber lite mat. This mat does not "self inflate" much if at all and I need to blow it up. Anyone out there own this model? Is this the norm or a defective model?

Self inflate is a misnomer. All it means is that the foam inside will take on some air immediately - as the valve is opened - and thus you will not have to blow into it 25 times like with a NeoAir just to get the pad firm.

In other words, yes - you still have to blow into the pad.
