Similar to the KD5IVP design http://www.backpacking.net/makegear/yagi-antenna/index.html
but... around here in the PNW it is not really feasable, especially while bushwacking, to have those full length elements sticking out of your pack. So I came up with a design that is quite compact
2m carbon fiber backpacking yagi, more compact than KD5IPV's design.
