What other photo forums do you all hang out on? Looking for a place I can post beginner photos/questions and get accurate troubleshooting/feedback, without imposing on the pros... Thx!

Chances are, there is a photo forum for your brand of camera, assuming that it is one of the common brands.

photo.net
naturephotographers.net
fredmiranda.com
luminous-landscape.com (a lot of articles by guest authors there are worth reading, though I'm not a fan in general)
tmelive.com

What Rakesh said +1.

My favorites are:
NaturePhotographers.net - great content, typically more experienced photographers, friendly, active community.

FredMiranda.com - more all purpose photography. Lots of activity though, great way to get questions answered as you're learning.

@Ed Engle: I agree with you. "Photography on the net" is a great forum. I'm a member of it. What's your screen name in it?

thephotoforum.com

This site has a lot of variety and articles on camera functions, etc.

Here is a forum for the "Urban Environment" that was linked in a forum report by someone who had posted a bunch of photos taken inside an abandoned building.

When not hiking, maybe you can find some cityscape landscape around your home to photograph.
