I have two sets of these. Both are used but in good condition with no problems locking. Weight is around 6.5 oz per pole with straps and baskets. These are the older full carbon model.

Asking $70 shipped per set. - Both SOLD

What is the max usable length? Also, I'm unfamiliar w/these - do these models have any problems (not your pair necessarily, but these poles in general.

Thank you

They extend to 140 cm or ~55 inches. Some people have had problems with them slipping. They're virtually identical to the Komperdell Carbon Duolock poles.

Shock Absorber? on 06/01/2010 13:42:46 MDT Print View

Is there a shock absorption component to these? Such as a spring?

Nope. Carbon is naturally shock absorbing with it's flexion though.

I'll sell all 4 for $100 shipped in the US. Would be good as a his & hers set, etc.

How do the grips feel compared to cork? and is the total weight for the pair 13oz? If so I'll take one pair for $50.00

I've never used poles with real cork grips so I can't say. These are a foam type material. Same as on the BPL and GG poles.

The $50 per pair price is only if you buy all four since it saves on shipping.

I use the exact poles and I think they're really nice. Mine weigh 12.4oz for the pair. You could also save a little more weight by replacing the wrist strap with something lighter. I've also heard some people had trouble locking them but mine work fine.

Anyway, just some comments for people thinking about purchasing them. I think they're a good pole for that price.
