BEES have had a hard time of it over the last few years. Wet summers, then cold winters. I've seen a reasonable number here in UK this last month, but I hope the population recovers much more.

Hasn't there been an epidemic of some sort of fungal disiease in the U.S. BEE population?

Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) might be one reason, at least for honeybees.

Hey Dave, did you complete the Northern Rockies section of the PCT with an English guy back in 2004?

I just got back from a 2 hour day hike in the Mt. Diablo open space--There was wild flowers just about everywhere but I did not see one Bee..I hope CCD has not spread to my part of the hood..

Bag them up and sell them on eBay.

In many places, the farmers need bees.

Bees are important! They have been on the decline Jay. The colony collapse theory is correct. We need bees big time.

Aliens know the earth is doomed.
They are evacuating the most valuable species first.
The bees are on their way.
I've heard we aren't on the manifest.
