Non-Baggy Convertible Pants?? on 04/27/2010 14:20:16 MDT Print View

I am a scrawny little guy and I've been hiking with a pair of REI Sahara Zip-Offs for the last 6 years...problem that I've got is that EVERYWHERE I GO, the REI pants are so baggy, they're always snagging and catching something.

I am now in the search for a more straight legged Convertible Pant....I tried the Mountain Hardware Mesa Convertible Pants and they were quite a bit less-baggy than the REI Sahara but still baggy...

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to try next? Looking for a tighter fitting, straight legged (but lighter material like the Mesa or REI Sahara) pants.

Thanks in advance!!

Matt

Golite makes tough and durable pants that fit good--not tight are loose..I also like Ex Officio pants that are like the REI Sahara zip offs. Get them in a size smaller maybe?

The mountain hardware mesa convertible's in SMALL fit so good throughout the legs and weren't too baggy -- but I was sucking in to get them to button. I went to a medium and they are a world of difference in the baggyness..

Am I being too picky?
