Has anyone modified a pair of the Gossamer Gear grips to fit a set of Leki or Black Diamond trekking poles?

I would like to convert my adjustable poles to these grips as I love them on my fixed length poles.....but the ID of the hole on the grips is quite a bit smaller than the OD of the poles.

Anyone?

I'm guessing your grips are 6" long
Most hardware stores sell "long bits".

Measure you pole OD, buy a bit a little over, drill, and bond.
