FS Brand New Nunatak Arc Pertex Size Medium 17 oz, with 9oz 800+ premium fill down.

Custom version of the Catabatic and Arc Specialist. What's custom is that I used the Arc Specialist for dims and the Catabatic for underside closure. I narrowed up the silnylon panel of the Catabatic to work better for a side sleeper.

Dims: 52" Shoulder, 44" Hip, 36" Foot. Slightly narrower than the Specialist. I'm 5'8" 150lbs and had it made to fit just right when wearing a Skaha jacket inside. Perfect fit for me with broad shoulders.

Material: Shell - Gun Metal Blue 1.0 oz Pertex Quantum. Lining - Black 1.0 oz Nylon Taffeta.

Fill: 9 oz. 800+ Premium down. Rated at 32* with 8oz of fill. I got 1oz overfill for a total of 9oz.

Baffles: 1.75" (1 3/4").

Note: I removed the Nunatak label from the foot panel and put a thin line of seam sealer over the needle holes. That's what shows in the picture. The Nunatak label is still on the upper area.

Why are you selling such a customized piece of gear?

The photo appears to show a silnylon panel, but that can't breathe. Nunatuk's website states that because there is no zipper to open, the only way to ventilate the Catabatic is to roll over and partially expose the panel.

Are you certain it's silnylon rather that a breathable Qauntum? If so, that bag is going to be a sauna in warmer climes.

How old is the quag?

@Bob, no the bag is not a sauna. They use sil because it is the underside of the bag and a single quantum layer would wear out too fast. My previous bag was fantastic just like this, and I'm in warm So Ca.

@Aaron, the bag is brand new in that I never used it. It has been properly stored for about 6 months.

I have a Catabatic that I love, which does have a Quantum bottom panel (.8 oz fabric, I think). I almost always use it in a bivy sack, so I think/hope the bottom will wear fine.

Venting is expected to take place through the bottom fabric when temperatures climb--you roll slightly sideways to expose more or less of the bottom--but I've only used it below 30. (In fact, down to 3 degrees F one night on a Stephenson Down Air Mat pad; I wasn't toasty, but I wasn't freezing, and of course I was wearing everything I could.)
