Visual Gear List on 04/10/2010 14:40:17 MDT Print View

I've created a visual gear list on my website. I also included a step by step packing guide with a food example. Let me know if this works. I realize it is a lot on one page, I am limited by the hosting plan I have.

Thanks, Jamie

Cool stuff Jamie--I like the idea. I mentally do a gear list in my head before every trip and then I realize what I forgot when I am already at the TH...Visual seems much better.

Beautiful gear list on your site! on 04/10/2010 18:13:21 MDT Print View

Beautiful gear list on your site!

THis is a super cool format for us visual learners.

Now, please know, I was an art director for ages. You should put the appropriate text UNDER the photos, not above.

And - I would change the numbering system to match the long list (1 thru 52) so it is consistent all the way thru the page.

Beyond my nit-picking of the presentation - awesome!

Thanks all.

Mike, That was exactly the feedback I needed. I will correct based on your suggestions. I must say I was inspired by your gear pics with numbers. Your essentials pic showing each item is still one of my favorites. And dehydrated toothpaste dots has to be one of the best ideas I have ever seen. Simple yes, but it works like a charm.

EDIT: I have incorporated all of Mikes suggestions.

Really nice on 04/13/2010 21:38:06 MDT Print View

Well done!! I really enjoyed looking at your gear. It's nice to see the gear other people carry and how they pack it.

Now only if i had your sewing skills!!

Once again, well done!
