Living in the Tongass makes it hard to decide which trees are my favorites. So, these two are above the rest, but there are more....RootsAnd simply The Tree on Admiralty Island
Here's one barely holding on along Dinkey Creek in the Sierra's a few years ago. Some alpenglow/treeglow.

Wow! I really like all of your pictures Jay, especially the JMT stuff. I've started planning trips outside of my usual summer spots in the Sierra's for next season. Your pictures have got me psyched to finally do a JMT trip next summer. Thanx! . . . here's another tree pano:
