Source for 7mm web & buckles? on 03/29/2010 19:35:58 MDT Print View

Looking for a source for 7mm flat webbing & ladderlock buckles (as used on Osprey Exos series packs).

Thanks in advance!

I'm also interested in sources for narrow (polyester and non-white..?) webbing and hardware. Thanks!

This is one site I came across in my search. I'm sure there are other vendors. It seems I would have to call in an order. No online purchasing. They have buckles too. Worth a look.

Thanks for the link, but they only have 1/4 in. flat boot lace, not 7 mm flat web.

I'm not familiar with Osprey pack straps and buckles, but here's a source for flat webbing and buckle hardware:

You might also contact Osprey directly for information on their source for what you want.

None of the distributors I deal with carry 7mm wide webbing or ladder locks. I would call or email Osprey to see if they could sell you some directly. The most common sizes are 3/4",1", 1.5" Good Luck!

6mm webbing.
It is a German store, you will have to ask them about shipping to the US. might be somewhat unreasonable to have $25+ on a $1 purchase...

they also have 10mm webbing, which seems a bit stronger.
Gurtband (Polyamid) 10mm

PS: if they charge you too much for shipping to the US, you can just as well have it delivered to me ad I'll forward it to you. This might also save you trouble with customs.

I've some 10mm buckles from extremtextil, and they are certainly not strong enough for use on a pack.

Another option is to use cord instead of webbing, the lineloc buckles are pretty strong, and the cord is lighter than a webbing. The only source I'm aware of is the extremtextil, see .
