Hey totally new here folks

i was wondering if anyone has tried to stiffen up their UL packs by putting a balsa wood piece between their removable pads

i just tried it on my osprey mutant (climbing pack, not UL but same concept), and with the DIY balsa wood insert can now a heavier load conformably

best of all its cheap, homemade and i can use it as kindling in an emergency
