In the event that some of you enjoy outdoor blogs as much as I do, I wanted to regretfully mention the passing of Gary Mittelholtz, host of "Doing Stuff Outdoors" who passed away Saturday from an apparent heart attack suffered while skiing.

For anyone who listened to Gary's podcasts, it's easy to appreciate his love for the outdoors and his charming presentation of fellow adventurists. He will be missed.

Oh my. That really sucks. I've listened to all his podcasts. He will be missed.
