On some trip reports and guides I have seen references to a brush rating (something like brush rating class III). Googling the term I have found the “Cascade Brush and Bushwhack Rating System”. Is this some sort of “standard”? I annotate my maps with informal descriptions about the terrain, and I think it would be useful to use standard ratings for sharing these notes with others.
The really wonderful thing about Standards is that there are so many of them to choose from, and if you don't like any of them you can make up your own.Variously attributed to IBM, Microsoft, ...Cheers
I've never seen that mentioned in any U.S. guidebooks.
"I've never seen that mentioned in any U.S. guidebooks."Me either. Nice idea, though.
