I have 2 Vaude tents and the design and build quality are excellent.

Haha, the Scutum aka Power Lizard UL. Really saggy, end struts can't be operated in minus temperatures, and tiny - how they think to fit in two people there is a miracle for me, but that's marketing BS for you. I wouldn't spent a cent on it, and take my money to Tarptent for a Scarp 1 or Terra Nova for a Laser.
