I have never heard of this shop before (Rockywoods.com), but it has Black Diamond softshell jackets for about $38 after you add in priorty mail shipping. Limited sizes and availability

I've purchased fabrics from this company about five times, with no problems. That same garment is offered in a dozen other online stores, all for about the same price.

There appear to be two companies with the same name (and both selling clothes, not sure how this is possible trademark-wise). I've seen some at Costco that are called Black Diamond, but have very different logos and don't appear to be the "normal" black diamond brand (more casual-wear oriented and budget). Can't comment at all on quality because I've never compared or tried out the other BD.

It could be from Black Diamond Sportswear.

Yep, Black Diamond, not Black Diamond! Tricky, I know.
I picked up a softshell at Marshalls for 20.00. Thought it was a steal and did some looking 'round when I got home and found out that it's another company, who don't have the same commitment to quality. I kept the jacket anyway, nice enough for around town use.

I picked one up at Salvage Unlimited a while back for like $15-$20. It seemed like a decent enough jacket, good quality, nice looking. It was a little big on me so I gave it to my brother. He likes it alot.
