I don't care how you bring eggs on a backpack trip (fresh, air dehydrated, or freeze dried). I used to prepare breakfast eggs for an 8-person group, and I was doing them in the form of crepes. However, I had one magic ingredient that I kept secret. They would taste the crepe and claim that it was good, but they could never identify the magic ingredient. It's because they did not normally associate that ingredient with eggs.
