Details: medium size Arc Alpinist but with the width of a Back Country Blanket, has a closed footbox and 2 webbing straps for closure. Fabric is Epic by Nextec 1.7

Because this was custom it cost over $375 - I'm looking to make as close to that as possible so PM me your best offer.

I love this quilt but have been slammed with a lot of unexpected expenses and would like to see it go to a good home... so that I can hopefully afford to go on a thru-hike.

It is in like new condition and has been used on only one overnight - it was too warm for summer trips and I've been almost afraid to use it because of the price/quality... a very foolish thing to do, because it sat in my closet all fall/winter and I never got to really appreciate it! Has a ridiculous amount of loft and has been properly stored in a non-smoking home.

I wanted something wider than the average quilt but without velcro. Size info can be found on Nunatak's website, but I will edit this post later to verify measurements. I also have never accurately weighed it. Ballpark weight is 24 oz but I will try to get my hands on a better scale soon.

Hopefully the pictures help convey size - I am 5'3" and this bag covers my head.24531

FWIW, here are the specs from Nunatak's site:

ARC ALPINIST in Epic:
weight 23 ounces
shoulder girth 55 inches
hip girth 45 inches
foot girth 38 inches
cost in Epic..................$426

BACK COUNTRY BLANKET in Epic:
weight 26 ounces
shoulder 61 inches
hip 53 inches
foot 46 inches
cost in Epic..................$439

Both are rated to 20° F, have a 2-1/2 inch baffel height, and 11 oz of 850 down fill.

While $375 sounds like a 2008 price, it is still a very good price for this hybrid, given what a new one costs in 2010.

Good luck.

Yes, it was bought in 2008. And sadly, I can't even remember what I paid (my email order transaction didn't include pricing) so that was me guessing (I know it was more than 375 but figured that was a fairly accurate guess and a reasonable price).

Thanks for posting the specs Bob - I have to admit that I'm posting while at work and so have to avoid typing too much!
