Almost a year ago (Feb 2009) we had a long thread about reordering the forums (and some other suggestions too). I still think it's a very good idea. There are too many of them, ordering illogically, and leads to folks not using them as much as possible (as a result, everybody just puts everything in G-Spot).

A bit of the reordering was done (e.g. move all the Admin to the bottom), but really obvious things like putting "Trip Announcements" before "Trip Reports" weren't done).

I still suggest you do something like this:
