Hmmmmm. To be honest, I feel like I'd already received much more in benefits from this site than the $99 fee, so it was an easy decision. I could have done everything you mention in your second sentence with a yearly subscription, so it wasn't that. And, knowing me, I probably won't be around this site in 5 years, so it wasn't that particular ROI either. Personally, I'd pay $99 per year to keep the site around for as long as I found it useful. I'd say it's worth that, at least to me right now.
