How well does it work. I just realized my salsa jack unfortunately has no dwr and I like it a lot.

I've used the kind for softshells and it works great. I used it on a Cloudveil softshell and it beads up like a sheet of glass. I applied it while the jacket was wet then ironed it until it was dry.

I've used Tecron spray-on DWR, which is very good but recently I have switched to REVIVEX because it is even better, especially when "revived" in a medium heat drier.

As a ski patroller I use my GTX patrol parka a lot each week and have to run it through no-detergent wash/rinse cycle about every 3 weeks to get rid of "THE SMELL". This works very well and when I take it from the drier I test the DWR. After one original Revivex treatment in October (2 applications within 24 hours) it still beads water like mad every time I take it from the drier.

So I'm a confirmed Revivex user.
