My son and I on our way to Bear lake, even with the chair my total pack weight w/food/water/ and half the tent was only 22lbs mugs

LOVE the Ancient Lakes photo! I took Ford there years ago and we listened to coyotes all night - it was a good trip in early spring :-)

It will be fun taking two kids, grateful one can carry a pack donkeys load though! (I can carry the baby stuff and baby, the boy can carry our gear). More reason to stay UL all the time, eh?
