there is big diference in hiking in US and in Russia. first dif/ is that we have no word Hiking =) we say Turism or Pohod=)
it nice to have a dialogue.

I absolutely love the photo of the two campfires under the trees!

I've been wanting to hike in Russia for many years. It's so big I don't even know where to get started, but two places I'd like to visit are Sakhalin, Kamchatka and the Verkhoyansk Mountains in Siberia. There are of course many other places I'd like to go and learn about, too. Living here in Japan, Russia is right there, and yet it still seems very far away.

Please tell us more!

Sahalin, Kamchatka wondrful palses, but it is too far from me=(
Krimea,karelia,Khibin and Karpaty mountains my favorite.
Im planing to go 7 days treking in Krimea soon (last week of october)i will work for some new fotos=)
