I know this can't be anything ground breaking or original, but I whipped this up last week and it tasted fantastic! I attempted to make pizza, but realized I forgot the dry ingredients to make the dough.. So I did this instead..

2 packages raman noodles
Pizza sauce
Pepperoni
shredded asiago cheese
black olives
fresh basil

Pretty self explanatory from here... Cook and drain noodles (discard seasoning of course) then mix in the rest of the ingredients. I warmed the whole mixture in the pot before eating so the sauce would be hot, but it would be good cold too. Like cold pizza.

Way to go, Justin! It was ground-breaking for this guy. I've been trying to figure out a pizza thing without doing dough, and also wondering what to do with all this ramen I've stockpiled. Now I just need to dehydrate some pizza sauce and some more olives. Thanks for this tip.

As for olives? You can get sliced ready to go freeze-dried ones from www.packitgourmet.com - they are worth ordering! Easy! (I like them more than drying, as I can eat them in the fd state in gorp. Yes, it is weird but good!)

Thanks for the post, Sarah. Good ideas. Freeze dried olives--who knew? But wouldn't you dehydrate your sauce first, or do you just carry the weight of the sauce packets?

Gary it depends really :-) I came up with a recipe using tomato powder (trying to think if I have that on the site or not!) which is really easy. Or I dry it. Or for short trips those Boboli packets of sauce rock. The clear plastic pouches are easy to use!

Now I see how you are, girl--sometime yes, sometimes no. The lady I date is like that too. I think your mothers teach you this stuff, while all that we guys learn from our dads is how to change oil, clean fish, dig in the dirt, some football strategy, and a few card tricks. It's an unfair planet...

Staying on topic, I looked up that tomato powder pizza sauce recipe on your website, and I couldn't find it. I would love to use up some of that tomato powder I bought from HH, and give it a try. Could you help?
