where did you buy it from? or more to the point, is it a registered suunto dealer?

Do you have the warranty card and do you know if the warranty is transferable?

What date did you buy it?

Are you willing to lower your price? New ones are selling on Amazon for 175 with shipping and tax included.

Don't need the watch as I already have one, but I do believe the warranty is transferable. I bought a Suunto Core at the REI garage sale and was told the warranty was still good. This was a used watch, that leaked water into it. I went to the Suunto site and followed their steps to submit a warranty and sent it in. Couple of weeks later I got a brand new, not just fixed watch.
