Does anyone have possumdown gloves for sale? I can't find them anywhere.

They sell my favourite fingerless possum down gloves, but postage may be a killer!

Thanks for the link Lynn! Actually the postage is exceptionally reasonable! Their classic possum down gloves are USD 24.95 shipped! Just ordered a pair, I'll see how they match up to the BPL possum down gloves.

The only thing I'm worried about is the time constraint. I'm going backpacking on the 12th and was hoping to pick up a pair before then. Any ideas?

The site said 7-10 days. Haven't gotten a 'shipped' email yet, just ordered them last night. FWIW.

Bradford, I'll post an 'initial impressions' when I get them, comparing them to the pair of BPL possum down gloves I have now.

I'm curious about other people's experiences. My BPL gloves are great when dry, but start to shed black fibers when wet. They don't seem very much different after they dry back out (of course, once I noticed what they were doing, I treated them very gently), but imagine over time they would do the possum down equivalent of losing loft.

Got my 'shipped' email a few moments ago this evening. So ordered last night around 11 p.m. EST, and got the shipped email less than 24 hours later. No tracking number though, so can't tell you when it's supposed to arrive.

Quick bit about the gloves, since I haven't actually had a chance to get them 'out' yet. They arrived this weekend (I've been out since Friday, so I don't know whether they arrived Friday or Saturday), so about 10 days from ship to my door. They feel exactly like the BPL possum down gloves I have. Look the same. Weigh about the same (40g on my scale for mediums). Have pretty much the same possum down/merino wool blend. In other words, they're pretty much the same glove as far as I can tell. Only a touch cheaper (the $24.95 included shipping). So I'd say you can't go wrong buying from this site. I can't wait to wear the socks!

Thanks for the link Lynn!
